Labor Day Weekend: A Healthier Approach
Hi friends! Happy Labor Day Weekend! Personally, I love Labor Day weekend. Yes, to some it may signify the theoretical end of summer. Everyone knows that it isn’t ACTUALLY the end of summer, right? For those of us still living in a 90 degree heat wave, summer is far from over. Even if you’re not into the whole PSL or pumpkin picking craze, you can’t deny that Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin is a classic. Don’t fight me on that one. So, naturally, I feel like it’s my duty to call some attention to some of the nutritional benefits of this little fall favorite. And if…

Hello again, and happy FriYAY! Day 3 of this 30 day blog challenge and I’m coming in strong with one of my favorite stand-by recipes for weeknight eats. To be completely honest, I am not a master chef. So when I find a recipe that I really like, and that my husband also enjoys, it ends up becoming a staple in our weeknight dinner game. We have three main requirements for M-F dinners: Easy to prepare Healthy & Balanced Easy to modify based on each of our individual preferences So, typically it involves some sort of protein and vegetables. Matt will ALWAYS have brown rice, as well. I’m a dabbler…
